I absolutely loved the traditional Cretan style of the hotel's decorations and furnishings. The fine furniture and earth tones created a warm and inviting atmosphere. The general areas of the hotel were spacious and bright, providing a comfortable environment for relaxation. Additionally, I greatly appreciated how accessible the hotel was for senior people like myself. The children working there were always available and willing to assist with any needs or concerns, making my stay even more enjoyable.

If I had to ask for one improvement for a better vacation for senior people, it would be to have handrails or grab bars in the bathrooms. This small addition would provide extra support and stability, especially when using the shower or toilet.

The property had an exceptional view and modern and big rooms. Location was stunning and gorgeous, only 5 minutes walk from Voulisma Beach.

The living space is spacious, with cozy couches and a dining table. The location is ideal for exploring nearby beaches and towns, and the hotel is easily accessible from Heraklion by car.

The cleaning service was somewhat haphazard, with inconsistencies in rubbish removal and replenishing of toiletries.

The view from our apartment at Anemone Homes was absolutely breathtaking! We could see the dazzling Cretan Sea, the charming town of Agios Nikolaos, and even Mirabello Bay. It made us feel like we were in paradise! The living room area was incredibly cozy and comfortable. We spent many evenings just lounging on the sofa, enjoying each other's company and taking in the stunning views. The kitchenette was a lifesaver! It had everything we needed to prepare our meals, including a fridge, an oven, and a toaster. We loved being able to cook our own food and save some money. The private bathroom was spotless and had fantastic free toiletries. We felt like we were in a high-end hotel. The shower was also excellent, offering a refreshing experience after a long day of exploring.

Personally, I found the balcony a bit small. However, I understand that it might be enough for others and it did offer some lovely sea and mountain views.

Additionally, the hotel's accessibility was excellent, with no stairs or obstacles that would hinder mobility.

The only thing I would ask for to make the vacation even better for senior people is more assistance from the staff. Although they were friendly and helpful, at times it would have been nice to have a dedicated staff member specifically catering to the needs of older guests.
